Principal's Message

Welcome back to the 2023-24 school year at Elgin High School!

As we begin the 2023-24 school year, we are excited with the opportunities that our students will have in preparing for their futures! We all anticipate and look forward to what this school year will bring!

Being involved in your student’s education is proven as a contributing factor in their positive development both as a student and individual.  Seek opportunities to become involved in the school and encourage your student to do the same.  Studies show that students that are actively involved in school and school activities have a greater, positive academic performance. 

Encouraging your student to become involved, ask questions, be active during their time in High School will and can contribute to their positive success as a student!  Talk to your student often.  Encourage them to do their best in all they attempt.  Ask them “What’s Your E?”!  This is the slogan that we have adopted at Elgin High School to assist your student in planning for their future.
